Amanda Bayley

Amanda Bayley is a professor of music, Bath Spa University, United Kingdom. Amanda leads an interdisciplinary research group on Intercultural Communication through Practice. Her publications include Recorded Music: Performance, Culture, and Technology (Cambridge University Press, 2010). Her research focuses on composer–performer collaborations, rehearsal analysis and creative processes between cultures. She is co-editor of a new book series with Routledge on Transcultural Musical Practices, and leads international, transdisciplinary research projects that develop intersections between music and nature.
