Claire Coleman

Dr Claire Coleman is a senior lecturer at Te Kura Toi Tangata School of Education, University of Waikato. She is passionate about embodied and creative pedagogies for transformative education. She is a performer, creator and educator dedicated to inclusive practices that enhance opportunities for the tamariki (children) of Aotearoa New Zealand. Her areas of research interest include process drama, social justice, ILEs, creative pedagogies and teacher education. She is currently trialling her critical process drama framework as an enactment of critical pedagogy.
