Felipe Henrique Monteiro Oliveira

Felipe Henrique Monteiro Oliveira holds a Ph.D. in performing arts from the Federal University of Bahia, a post-doc at the San Paulo University, and is a collaborating professor at the MA of Arts Program of the Federal University of Uberlândia. He is the founder and director of the International Center for Artistic and Academic Research Antonin Artaud. His research interests, academic papers and books cluster around performance and disability culture. He coined the term 'differentiated body' to outdo the binary distinction of efficiency/inefficiency and ableism rhetoric, thus transcending disability stigma.
