Giorgia Aiello is professor of culture and communication at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom) and associate professor of sociology of culture and communication at the University of Bologna (Italy). Her books include Communication, Espace, Image (Les Presses du Réel, 2022) and Visual Communication: Understanding Images in Media Culture (Sage Publications, 2020) with Katy Parry.
