Juanjuan Wu
Juanjuan Wu is a professor of retail merchandising and apparel studies in the College of Design at the University of Minnesota. Her main area of research is fashion retailing, specifically focusing on the emerging issues at the intersection of retail and design. She investigates the fashion-making system, examining how key components of production, communication, distribution and consumption holistically create meaning by design. As the author of Chinese Fashion from Mao to Now (Berg, 2009), her focus on Chinese fashion offers a unique vantage point on an important global force in fashion making and consumption.
