Michael Mary Murphy

Michael Mary Murphy is a lecturer on popular culture, the music industry and management at Dun Laoghaire, IADT. He worked in the Dublin punk DIY scene and for major labels in New York and London. With Jim Rogers he authored the book, Sounds Irish, Acts Global: Explaining the Success of Ireland’s Popular Music Industry (2023). He writes about punk, youth culture, the music business and role-playing board games.
