Ramna Walia
Ramna Walia is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Radio-Television-Film, University of Texas at Austin. She completed her M. Phil in Cinema Studies at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, JNU where she worked on popular Bombay film remakes. She has published her work in Bioscope (July 2013) and Synoptique (3:1, Spring 2014). Her research interests include South Asia, video cultures, informal media, creative labour, technology and film recycling and remakes.
