Rea Dennis, Ph.D. is a performance studies scholar based at Deakin University in Australia. Her performance writing explores temporal, spatial and movement practices, with research interests in embodied cognition, actor training, ethical performance and kinaesthetic and sensory dramaturgy. She writes critical articles addressing experiences of practice-led research, theatre practice, thinking through making and in performance. Her performance work has toured to the United Kingdom, New York, Taiwan, Germany, Brazil and Japan.
