Vassiliki Kolocotroni

Vassiliki Kolocotroni is senior lecturer in English literature at the University of Glasgow. She works on international modernism, hellenism, critical theory and film. She is co-editor of Modernism: An Anthology of Sources and Documents (The University of Chicago Press, 1999), The Edinburgh Dictionary of Modernism (Edinburgh University Press, 2020); Women Writing Greece: Hellenism, Orientalism and Travel (Brill, 2008); In the Country of the Moon: British Women Travelers to Greece 1718–1932 (Hestia, 2005); and two books on the Surrealist poet and theorist Nicolas Calas (Ypsilon, 2002 and 2012). A collection of critical essays on Hotel Modernisms, co-edited with A. Despotopoulou and E. Mitsi and published by Routledge, is forthcoming in 2023.
