Chang Yong Son
Dr Chang Yong Son holds a Ph.D. at the City University of London and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He serves as a deputy director of the policy office in the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning. Before joining the ministry, he worked in media regulatory bodies including the Korea Communications Commission and the Korean Broadcasting Commission, and he has co-authored Korean Cable TV and Politics (2002) (revised editions 2003 and 2007) and ‘When new media meets an old regulatory structure: The development of IPTV and the challenge in media policy’ in International Journal of Technology Policy and Law (2013).
