Elisabeth Silva Lopes
Elisabeth Silva Lopes is currently the pedagogical coordinator at SP Escola de Teatro. She is a retired professor of the performing arts course at ECA/USP, where she taught acting and trained a generation of artists who stand out in the contemporary arts. At present, she belongs to the Postgraduate Programs in Performing Arts at ECA/USP and IDA/UnB, and in addition to guiding master's and doctoral students, she develops studies and publishes academic articles and books focused on Brazilian theatre, corporeity, buffoonery, memory and performance. In her career as a theatre director, she recorded more than 40 performances, with which she received nominations and awards as a director (Shell; Sesi; Coca-Cola/Pananco; Festival da Cultura Inglesa SP).
