Hermann Mückler
Hermann Mückler is professor of cultural anthropology at the University of Vienna. Focusing on Oceania and Australia, his research examines historical topics, colonialism, conflict and popular culture. He serves as president of the Anthropological Society in Vienna. The author or editor of 27 books, his most recent publications are Die Marshall-Inseln und Nauru in deutscher Kolonialzeit (The Marshall Islands and Nauru in German Colonial Times) (2016) and Australien, Ozeanien, Neuseeland (Australia, Oceania, New Zealand) (2020).
