Krisztina Rozgonyi
Krisztina Rozgonyi is a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Communication, University of Vienna, where she completed her Ph.D. She is also managing the department’s platform to bridge communication and media research with policy agendas. She has published on media and regulatory policy. Before her academic engagement she was a senior regulator leading a Telecommunication Regulatory Authority in an EU Member State, and currently does legal and regulatory advisory on media, telecommunication and IP with global and European organizations (such as the ITU/UN, UNESCO, the Council of Europe, European Commission, World Bank InfoDev, the OSCE Representative on Media Freedom and BBC Media Action), with national governments and regulatory bodies as adviser on media freedom, spectrum policy and digital platform governance.
