Luise Vormittag
Luise Vormittag is an illustrator, designer, researcher and writer based in London, United Kingdom. She is a reader in illustration at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London. Her practice-led research focuses on the nexus of image-making, community and place. Together with Dr Stephanie Black (Kingston School of Art), she launched Colouring In – an online research platform through which they are examining the impact of illustration on themes of critical importance to global debates. Before focusing on her academic career, she practised as a commercial illustrator and designer working in various collaborative constellations to complete a broad range of commissions for national and international clients.
