Patricia Lennox

Patricia Lennox teaches at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and NYU Global sites in London and Florence. Her courses have included Practicum in the Fashion Business (co-taught with fashion-professional visiting professors) and Fashion’s Fictions: The Texts of Clothing. Recent publications include co-editing Shakespeare and Costume (Bloomsbury 2015), an edition of Shakespeare’s As You Like It, articles on Shakespeare in performance and on film and reviews of costume exhibitions. For the World Shakespeare Conference (2016), she organized and chaired the panel ‘Shakespeare in the Costume Archives’. She is a member of the editorial board of Studies in Costumes and Performance. Before joining academia, she worked as the personal assistant to Diana Vreeland in the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City.
