Rod Giblett

Rod Giblett is the author of Cities and Wetlands: The Return of the Repressed in Nature and Culture (Bloomsbury Press, 2016) in which he considers twelve cities in Europe and North America, including London, New York, Paris and Toronto. Modern Melbourne develops from this book and from his previous work on Perth and its wetlands (including most recently in Black Swan Lake: Life of a Wetland (Intellect Books, 2013). He lives in Melbourne and is honorary associate professor of environmental humanities in the School of Communication and Creative Arts, Deakin University. .
