Tommy Tse
Tommy Tse is associate professor at the University of Amsterdam. He specializes in Asia’s media and cultural industries, consumer culture, creative labour and fashion. Tse is a recipient of the European Research Council’s Consolidator Grant 2021 for his multi-sited ethnographic project China Fashion Power. He is one of the principal editors of International Journal of Fashion Studies and serves on the editorial board of Fashion, Style & Popular Culture. His work has appeared in the European Journal of Cultural Studies; Journal of Consumer Culture; Journal of Cultural Economy, among others.
